It'll Never Work was a weekly British technology show aimed at youngsters. Each episode offered a rundown of famous inventions that changed the world -- along with less famous inventions (such as computer games for pigs) which never quite got off the ground. The viewers at home were invited to submit their own basement-lab creations -- and the crazier, the better. The winner of several industry awards, It'll Never Work began its lengthy run in 1997.
