Young Ira is thrilled when his friend Reggie invites him over to spend the night. However, when he's about to leave home, Ira wonders if his friend will laugh at him if he brings his favorite teddy bear along for the sleepover. Ira discusses his dilemma with his sister who knows he hasn't slept without his teddy bear since he way a little baby. The film is based on Bernard Waber's book published in 1972.
