synopsis
This documentary, part of the Investigative Reports series from A&E, explores the case of a police officer who was killed in Springfield, IL. Narrated by Investigative Reports host and producer Bill Kurtis, the video uses interviews with police to explain how the case was left unsolved for five years. Then, one piece of information found in the case files led to the arrest and conviction of the murderer, and put an end to another unsolved case.
