synopsis
In this documentary, part of the Investigative Reports series from A&E, a "cold case" is looked at again and re-examined by law enforcement authorities. Narrated by Investigative Reports host and producer Bill Kurtis, this video looks at three murders that took place from 1984 to 1985 in Texas. Three different police departments worked to solve the cases and even though there were some suspects, no arrests were made. With the advent of DNA technology, police were able to reopen all three cases and found semen with the same DNA at two of the three murders. This led police to paroled murderer Faryion Wardrip, who was convicted for the murders and even confessed to an additional murder.
