As produced and directed by Kenneth Bugmaier, this film travels to the 1996 International Jazz Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremonies in Tampa. The late Steve Allen hosts; inductees include Rosemary Clooney, Lou Donaldson, Lionel Hampton, Harry 'Sweets' Edison, Lionel Hampton and Frank Foster. The program also features performances by Grey ("Lover Man"), Donaldson (Blues Walk), Foster (&"Here's That Rainy Day,"} special guest Dorothy Donegan (a melody of "Here's That Rainy Day," "I Can't Get Started" and "Hallelujah Boogie Woogie") and others.
