Jack Duffy, "the Canadian Sinatra", was the host of this CBC musical variety show. The emphasis was on Swing, with orchestra leader Guido Basso deliberately imitating the sounds of Glenn Miller. Several episodes featured top musicians and vocalists from the Big Band era, while other installments were "theme" shows, focusing on a single singer or orchestra leader. Telecast on Thursdays from September 16, 1971 to June 29, 1972, In the Mood was rerun in the summer of 1974.
