Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
First-time director Marcello Modugno has created an interesting but still unexciting film about two young people aspiring to perform in music and dance. Carlo has just graduated from the university and works in his father's factory, even though his real desire is to be a folk-rock musician. After he meets Elizabeth, an American studying dance at the National Academy in Rome, romance starts to compete with his dreams of musical attainment, and his relationship with Elizabeth begins to occupy center stage. Soon she will have to perform for her final exams at the academy, and how she does will certainly affect her future, and Carlo's as well.
