Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This comedy-drama was based on the stage play by Vincent Lawrence. Ann Jordan (Marguerite de la Motte) is the pretty and pampered daughter of a well-to-do contractor (Will Walling). Men are constantly falling at her feet and she's had a baker's dozen fiancés. The latest one is Frank Oakes (Allan Sears), who manages to push his way in over the easygoing Bob Metcalf (Harold Goodwin). Bob has a friend, Jack Gardner (Allan Forrest), an engineer who is designing a bridge for a competition. Mr. Jordan hears about the project and invites Jack over to discuss the plans. Over the course of Jack's visit, Mr. Jordan manages to steal his designs. Jack, meanwhile, steals Ann's heart. Even though he realizes that she is an incorrigible flirt, he falls in love with her, too. Jack loses the competition, but Mr. Jordan gives him a big project -- and also gives his blessing to his union with Ann.
