Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Director Patrick Creadon's documentary If You Build It follows a pair of ambitious designers who create a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity for a small North Carolina school. They overcome hindrances from those in the community opposed to doing anything radically different, as well as a lack of funding, in order to put in place a program where teens design, and then construct a real building. Through that process they learn about a variety of topics, not just architecture and construction.
