synopsis
Slated mainly for local audiences, this typical adventure story by director Basile Georgiadis is patterned after a Greek legend. The setting is a rural town, and the action takes place in the early part of the 20th century when the small town is harrassed by a band of brigands. One man in the town stands up to the hoodlums but he is a pacifist at heart and uses all the means at his disposal to eliminate the harrassment without a violent confrontation. His good intentions do not carry much weight with the outlaws, and the end result is exactly what the lone defender of the town had tried to avoid.
