review for I Cacciatori del Cobra d'Oro on AllMovie

Here's a Raiders of the Lost Ark rip-off that did its homework. Not only does the picture blatantly lift classic dialogue ("I'm makin' this up as I go along!"), but it also comes complete with a snake pit scene, as well as a kidnapping through an open market that's oh so familiar to the famous laundry-basket sequence. A bit of entertainment is gleaned from the name of this Indy-clone hero (Bob Jackson!), and more than a few chuckles are mined from his sidekick's ridiculous British dubbing, though don't expect much else from this cheap Italian knock-off. Director Anthony M. Dawson (aka Antonio Margheriti) helmed yet another Raiders rip-off the following year with David Warbeck, that one titled The Ark of the Sun God, which is every bit as uninspired as this little production.
