Greek filmmaker Yiorgos Panoussopoulos received glowing reviews for this peculiar but insightful tale of obsessive amour fou. Young Aris Retsos is outstanding in the lead as Harris, a student and part-time member of a motorcycle gang, who lives with his widowed mother (Dora Volanaki) in a modest apartment in Athens. Harris grows obsessed with a married woman named Stella (Betty Livanou) who lives across the street, and follows her every move with a telescope at his window. Before long, they make contact by telephone, and although she has a husband and daughter, Stella finds herself ever more attracted to the strange young man across the way. It takes a while for Stella to get up her nerve, but she eventually comes to visit Harris, leading their odd affair to its inevitable conclusion. Yiorgos Siskos co-stars with Dimitris Poulikakos and Themis Manessis.
