Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Its title notwithstanding, the British children's series Hyperlinks did not confine itself to computer technology. Rather, the series took the approach of such earlier projects as the weekly series How and the coffee-table book The Way Things Work, exploring the scientific utilization and widespread significance of everyday objects: pencils, glasses, flowerpots, and the like. Tom Pringle served as the series' science advisor. Twelve 25-minute episodes of Hyperlinks were broadcast by BBC2 from 2000 to 2001.
