Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Dorothy Phillips stars in this tale of the sea, which was directed by her husband, Alan Holubar. Lola (Phillips) is the daughter of a smuggler, and after his death, she follows in his footsteps, taking command of a contraband ship. During one voyage, government agent Steele O'Conner (Robert Ellis) sneaks on board and pretends to be a refugee. With his courteous manner -- a complete contrast to the rough crew -- he completely fools Lola, who falls in love with him. Once he feels secure, O'Conner contacts the other revenue officers and they raid the ship. Lola escapes in a launch and swears revenge. When she finds out that there is another woman (Gertrude Astor) in O'Connor's life, she arranges to have her captured and taken out to sea. The women are pursued, and, improbably, they become friends. When O'Conner finally catches up with them after an airplane chase, he and Lola come to an understanding.
