synopsis
A good cast tries its darnedest to lift House of the Dead above the merely mundane. As can be deduced by the title, what we have here is a house that is festooned with ghosts. We also have a man who doesn't believe in those ghosts. He spends the night locked in the house, where he is convinced in a hurry that there are more things in heaven and earth etc. John Ericson, Charles Aidman, Bernard Fox and Ivor Francis, familiar TV faces all, remain credible in spite of all the incredulity surrounding them.
