synopsis
When four misfits get together to try to steal a huge, priceless diamond, it's a formula for an entertaining film. Although Robert Redford is a little out of his element, it is still a fun mix with Redford, George Segal, Ron Leibman, Paul Sand and Zero Mostel. Making no apologies for the criminal act itself, the movie just concentrates on the characters and the fun of the movie. Based on a Donald E. Westlake novel, with a sequel called Bank Shot in 1974, it's a heist gone awry.
