Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A bickering couple finds their apartment suddenly overrun by a crack special forces unit in director Arkadiy Yakhnis' ominously titled, absurdist comedy drama. Marxin (Yuri Nifontov) is a mild-mannered university lecturer who lives a life of domestic predictability with this acerbic wife Lera (Marina Ilyina), a German teacher. One day, four military commandos led by Colonel Zharov (Oleg Fomin) invade the couple's home in order to stake out the adjacent apartment -- where they believe a dangerous fugitive is holed up. At first Marxen is furious, desperately seeking out the assistance of the police and a psychiatrist in ridding his apartment of the invaders. As the days wear on, however, Marxen begins to enjoy the company and Lera adapts religion as a means of dealing with the chaos in her home.
