review for Hop to It! on AllMovie

Once again, Bobby Ray and Oliver Hardy play rivals, Ray's physical resemblance to Stan Laurel being merely superficial. Both comics are rather vicious and Hop to It! is far from the much more sophisticated comedy of the later Oliver Hardy. It was written and directed by former prop man Ted Burnsten.
