Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Filmmaker Kyle Saylors explores the past, present, and future of faith in the entertainment industry in this documentary that reveals Hollywood's origins as a Christian community, and speaks with dozens of industry insiders in order to learn the truth about today's pervasive media culture. Most people don't realize that churches were actually the first movie theaters in America. But that was long ago, and today it's difficult to maintain your faith and integrity in a town where you're constantly being asked to compromise your beliefs. In this film, Saylors speaks with such established professionals as Pat Boone, Chuck Norris, Eric Close, and Penelope Foster in order to better understand how this city on the hill has changed since it became the center of the filmmaking universe.
