Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Newkirk smuggles his new girlfriend Gretel into Stalag 13. Unfortunately for all concerned, the girl turns out to be a German spy -- and now she knows all about Hogan's espionage activities. Hogan is faced with the double assignment of discrediting Gretel and expediting a mass escape, twin tasks complicated even further when Newkirk is transferred to another barracks. Ulla Stromstedt, who as the treacherous Myra was "killed" in the second-season episode "Diamonds in the Rough," is here cast as the duplicitous Gretel. Written by Richard M. Powell, "Sticky Wicket Newkirk" was originally broadcast on January 20, 1968.
