Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Produced in cooperation with the Toronto Public Schools system, Hobby Workshop was emceed by that organization's assistant supervisor of art, Tom Martin. Aimed primarily at the seven to 13-year-old demographic, the series offered advice on how to build things and on how to make those things work. The series debuted October 19, 1953, as a Monday-afternoon entry. By the time Hobby Workshop had run its course on June 30, 1955, the series had moved to Thursdays.
