Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Carlyle Blackwell, who also directed, stars as Jack Christie, who embarks on a European vacation with his Harvard roomie Victor Borden (Bert Honey). What Jack doesn't know is that Borden is actually Royalty, and in fact he is heir-apparent to the throne of Wallarya. When Borden is thrown in jail thanks to a brouhaha with a Parisian apache dancer, Jack agrees to take his friend's place at a social gathering in the Wallaryan capital. Thus is our hero thrust into a typical "Prisoner of Zenda" adventure, complete with sinister conspiracies, kidnappings, sword duels, and an imperiled princess (Evelyn Greeley). The trade magazine Variety suggested that director Carlyle Blackwell would have been better off hiring someone other than actor Carlyle Blackwell.
