Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Also known as The Notorious Gallegher, His Great Triumph starred William Nigh, who "tripled" as director and screenwriter. Raised in the slums and treated shabbily by everyone he meets, simple-minded "Butsy" Gallegher (Nigh) grows up as a craven coward. All this changes when he meets the girl of his dreams, Peggy Winters (Marguerite Snow). Suddenly, Butsy's worm turns, and he not only proves his innate courage, but also purges the slums of all criminals. It was the sort of story material that Harold Lloyd would later make his own personal property.
