Synopsis by Janiss Garza

At the age of twenty-one, Yukio (Sessue Hayakawa) finds out that his mother (Esuru Aoki) was betrayed by his absent American father, Lieutenant John Milton (Howard Davies). Yukio sails to the U.S. to murder Milton for disgracing his mother and is befriended by Edna Kingston (Marian Sais). What the young man doesn't realize is that Edna is a spy for the Germans, and Milton has some papers she wants. She promises him her love should he steal these documents. But when he steals them from his father's home, Edna takes them and then does her best to avoid him. Finally, Yukio figures out her true nature and his sense of honor inspires him to hunt her down and get the papers back. He has to fight all of Edna's male accomplices to get his hands on the papers, but he does, just as his father breaks in with the police. The spies are all captured and Yukio, who has now made peace with his father, decides to follow in his footsteps and enlist in the service.
