Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Hasan (Talat Bulut) emerges from prison an introverted, lonely man. His sister's death leaves him with no family. Broke and alone, he takes a job at a Protestant church driving a hearse. His one-room apartment is little better than the jail cell he had, and he suffers from nightmares about being trapped in the hearse. When he meets the young widow Ayse, the woman and her young son move in with Hasan. Ayse willingly enters into prostitution, but Hasan is comforted by the company of the young boy who shares his alienation.
