Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
This programs explains how Vladimir Lenin and others went about obtaining power through the Bolshevik ("majority") Revolution. Like so many subsequent leaders in that country, Lenin was forced to struggle with designing a worker's state in a country plagued by poverty. Viewers learn about the personal influences on Lenin's life, the time he spent in prison, and other roadblocks he faced as he became what many consider to be one of the most remarkable revolutionary leaders to emerge in the 20th century.
