Synopsis by Janiss Garza
For a husband, Carol Pelham (Beverly Bayne) chooses hard-working Bob Hilton (Monte Blue) over the wealthy but idle Ted Lowe (John Roche). For a few years the marriage is happy, but when Carol's friend, Estelle Winslow (Margaret Livingston), moves into the same apartment building, Lowe comes back into her life. Hilton has been putting in a lot of hours at work, and Carol is beginning to resent being left alone at night. One evening she decides to go to a wild party that Estelle is throwing. Hilton catches Lowe kissing Carol, who has passed out from drinking too much. His suspicions become even more ingrained when he finds that Lowe has sent Carol flowers. He finally throws her out of the house and gets a divorce, winning custody of their two little girls. Hilton can't forget Carol, and Carol longs to see her children. One night she sneaks into Hilton's home to visit her daughters. Hilton hears a noise and fires into the room. Although the bullet does not hit Carol, she faints. When she comes to, she and Hilton decide to reconcile.
