Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Hell's End is the name of the godforsaken Western town where beautiful Mary Flynn (Josie Sedgwick) resides. When her prospector dad suddenly strikes it rich, Mary heads to the East, intending to buy her way into High Society. Unable to find a husband amongst the "glitterati" of New York, she comes back to Hell's End, where she sets her cap for cowpoke Jack Donovan (William Desmond). Hoping to win Jack's love, Mary arranges for him to get a job at her father's factory then attempts to transform him into a society dude. But both Jack and the "upper crust" resent Mary's efforts to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Only when she gets off her high horse and accepts Jack for himself does Mary find true happiness.
