Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Veteran comedian Milburn Morante both directed and starred in this antiquated silent Western produced on the proverbial shoestring by Morante's own outfit, the misnamed Forward Films. Morante appeared as Beldon, the new ranch foreman, who recognizes an old enemy (Alfred Hewston) as the crook attempting to fleece the rancher and his daughter. A former vaudeville comic, Milburn Morante became a popular screen face via Universal's Joker Comedies. At various times a producer, director, writer, actor and make-up artist, Morante is perhaps best remembered as Buzz Barton's sidekick in FBO's "Red Heppner" series of the mid-1920s. He remained in films until the early 1950s.
