Early silent screen leading man Roy Stewart played a dual-role in this independently produced "Northwestern" about identical twins, separated at birth, who grow up on opposite sides of the law. The good Stewart becomes a Royal Mounted Police officer while the bad twin inherits an outlaw gang "founded" by his foster-father (William Lyon West). Soon one brother is chasing the other, with the expected misunderstandings cropping up along the way. This low-budget feature was produced by the San Francisco-based Quality Pictures Corp. and released by C.B.C Film Sales. The latter company, which changed is name to Columbia in 1924, was operated by the Cohn brothers and Joe Brandt. Not exactly one of the industry's more sophisticated outfits, C.B.C was derisively known as "Corned Beef and Cabbage."
