Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Zoe Trevor (Iva Shepard) is an American vamp who is the favorite of an Indian Rajah (Henry Pemberton). But when she meets a young artist from the U.S., she falls in love and dumps the Rajah flat. He sends a spy to keep watch over her, but she catches him hiding and, believing him to be the Rajah, stabs him through the curtain. To escape prosecution and/or marriage to the Rajah, Zoe escapes to the States and marries her artist. But after a couple of years, she decides that she's unworthy and plans to disappear so her husband can marry Edith, who she thinks that he loves. She fakes her death, but a model who is jealous of Edith claims that it was murder. After Edith is cleared, suspicion falls on the artist. The Rajah arrives to help press charges and a crowd is about to lynch the artist when Zoe reappears to clear things up. She also finds out that it was a servant, not she, who gave the spy the fatal stab wound, so she's not quite as bad as she thought she was.
