Synopsis
Robert De Niro narrates this portrait of the abstract impressionist (1880-1966) who brought the influences of Matisse and Picasso with him when he immigrated to the U.S., in middle age, and went on to influence a generation of American artists, most notably Frank Stella, who's interviewed, as are Ray Eames and Red Grooms..
