synopsis
Filmed in the Hebrew language, Hamsin is set on the Arab/Israeli border. The principal characters are a Jewish landowner (Shvomo Tarshish) and an Arab worker (Yasin Shawap). Despite deep-rooted ethnic differences, the two men have learned to get along harmoniously. This condition, however, may change at any moment. The Israeli government plans to claim the Arab's land, putting him in the untenable position of being subservient to his Jewish friend.
