The Great Chefs series, produced by the Discovery Channel, presents famous chefs from around the globe, cooking favorite dishes from their renowned restaurants. This set of programs travels to the city of New Orleans where the unique marriage of French and Louisianan lifestyles brought Creole culture and cuisine. Recipes from various chefs throughout the city include Shrimp Remoulade, Artichoke and Oyster Souffle, Profiterolles au Chocolat, Bouillabaisse, Pompano en Papillotte, Eggs Sardou, Grillades and Grits, and Souffle Potatoes. On this episode, Chefs Michel Marcais and Michael Roussel prepare Absinthe Suissesse and Bananas Foster.
