Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Donald Duck joins a tour of the Grand Canyon, conducted by Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore ("Spread out, a little, folks. This is CinemaScape"). Unfortunately, Donald repeatedly wanders away from the group to take pictures and get into mischief. Later on, the group embarks on a burro ride to the bottom of the Canyon, with Donald getting things off to a bad start by setting off a flashbulb right in the burro's eyes. Not unexpectedly, this leads to a wild and treaherous journey to the Canyon floor, complicated not only by the temporarily blinded burro but also by the unexpected appearance of a mountain lion. By the time the cartoon comes to a close, the Grand Canyon has received its first "facelift" in nearly two million years.
