synopsis
When their neighbor has her electricity shut off and is threatened with eviction, the Evanses decide to hold a good old-fashioned rent party. Alas, this gesture puts them on the outs with their imperious building superintendent, Nathan Bookman (Johnny Brown). "The Rent Party" was not only the final episode of Good Times' third season, but it also represented series regular John Amos' farewell appearance.
