Synopsis by Hal Erickson
J.J.'s future as an artist seems assured when a wealthy businessman offers to be the teenager's patron. Alas, J.J.'s sponsor turns out to be Leroy Jackson (Edmund Cambridge), a longtime enemy of J.J.'s father, James (John Amos). When James refuses to allow his son to have anything to do with Jackson, J.J. runs away from home and moves into his patron's posh residence -- where he immediately suffers from a "culture-clash" creative block. Originally slated to air on March 15, 1974, "Junior Gets a Patron" was bumped back to March 22.
