Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In the concluding episode of Good Times' three-part sixth season opener, Keith Anderson (Ben Powers), the new husband of Thelma Evans (BernNadette Stanis), has broken his knee just after the wedding ceremony. Before the disaster occurred, Heisman-winning football player Keith was on the verge of signing a huge contract with the Chicago Bears. But now his pro football career is over before it begins, and Keith is stuck in the ghetto with the Evans family. Worse yet: Local loan shark Sweet Daddy (Teddy Wilson) demands payment on the loan taken out by Thelma's brother J.J. (Jimmie Walker) to finance the wedding.
