Silent Western star Leo Maloney took a breather from running down rustlers with this water-logged adventure from Poverty Row company Pinnacle. Maloney plays Jack Cameron -- "the last of the Camerons" -- who sails for the South Seas in search of a treasure, along with Mary Anson (Audrey Chapman, her father (Charles Holly), and Mary's fiancé Corwin Carson (James McLaughlin). But when the crew learn of the treasure, they commit mutiny and sink the ship. Jack heroically saves both Mary and her foppish boyfriend; all are washed ashore on a tropical island where Jack once again comes through when the party is attacked by wild savages. The treasure is located of course, and Jack, as the film's press book states, "who now has the full admiration of Mary, asks her to be his wife."
