Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Having worked himself out of grinding poverty, grouchy millionaire Lorenzo Todd (George Hernandez) adopts a chip-on-the-shoulder attitude concerning the rest of Mankind. The only people Todd truly cares about is his son Warren (Val Paul) and his boyhood chum Dudley Phillips (Frederick Montague). Eventually, however, the old sourpuss manages to alienate these two people as well. Todd's conversion from Misanthrope into Nice Guy, and his reconciliation with his son and best friend, consumes the final reels of this moralistic comedy-drama. Heavily reliant upon cute coincidences, the script of God's Crucible was not entirely worthy of the actors' talents.
