This comedy starring Carter DeHaven and his wife Flora Parker DeHaven is rather slow-moving for a farce. It is based on a musical comedy by Stanislaus Stangg, so perhaps much of the humor was in the music and couldn't be carried to the silent screen. John Stewart (Tom McGuire) is worried that his son Bertie (Mr. DeHaven) is growing up to be a wimpy mama's boy. The big problem, as Bertie sees it, is that he has no money. So one evening he pawns a fur coat belonging to his father and takes out Mignon Smith (Mrs. DeHaven), a girl he met in a taxi. But her husband (King Baggot) shows up at the supper club they go to, and Bertie frantically hides her. Then he finds out that his father is also having a little fun at the club. Everyone manages to wrestle themselves out of their respective jams, and Bertie convinces his dad he's no weakling. For anyone who's wondering, the answer is yes -- actress Gloria DeHaven is the daughter of Carter and Flora.
