Synopsis by Hal Erickson
After a near-death experience, the Skipper (Alan Hale Jr.) begins to worry about what might happen to his fellow Castaways should he no longer be around. Thus, he begins grooming Gilligan (Bob Denver) to be his replacement--then conveniently "disappears" to find out how Gilligan will function on his own. Guess what: Gilligan not only flunks the test, but does so spectacularly!
