Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

An unpopular teacher with the ability to see ghosts attempts to help five mischievous lost souls find eternal peace while saving a troubled school from closing its doors in this slaphappy blend of The Frighteners and The Breakfast Club. Ridiculed as a young boy for his ability to glimpse the spirits all around us, Modesto (Raùl Arévalo) grows into a misfit schoolteacher who's unable to hold down a job. Just when Modesto resigned himself to the possibility that he's simply lost his mind, he lands a job at Monforte High School, where five students perished in a tragic fire back in 1986. His very first day on the job, Modesto encounters spectral student Angela (Anna Castillo, who immediately informs her deceased classmates Dani (lex Maruny), Mariví (Andrea Duro), Jorge (Jaime Olías, and Pinfloy (Javier Bódalo) that they have been spotted. Meanwhile, as Modesto discerns the best method for helping the ethereal students earn their diplomas, Monforte High School principal Tina (Alexandra Jiménez) finds herself strangely attracted to the quirky new teacher, but distracted by the meddling Otegui (Carlos Areces) and his repeated attempts to wrestle away control of the school. When Otegui reveals his plans for a takeover during a major event that will determine the future of Monforte High, the ghosts realize that Modesto needs their help as much as they need his, and use their otherworldly powers ensure a happy ending for the hapless teacher and the put-upon principal.
