Synopsis by Mark Deming
The Beatles weren't the only pop group from Liverpool to score a string of hit singles in the '60s -- Gerry & the Pacemakers were fellow Liverpudlians who earned a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic, and frontman Gerry Marsden still tours with a revamped lineup of Pacemakers. Gerry and the Pacemakers: Live at the Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow was recorded during a 1992 gig in Scotland, and includes the songs "How Do You Do It," "Ferry 'Cross the Mersey," "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying," "It's Gonna be All Right" and many more.
