Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Another uninspiring example of softcore pinku eiga director Chusei Sone's fallow period of the mid-'70s, in which Nikkatsu's most acclaimed filmmaker produced the least interesting work of his career. This tiresome erotic melodrama stars Masumi Jun as Mari, a prostitute's daughter who is the object of family scorn due to her mother's unsavory occupation. Mari leaves her grandfather's house for school in Tokyo when she gets older, rooming with her cousin, Yoko (Mariko Hoshi), but still being mistreated by everyone she meets. Realizing that she's going to be treated like a prostitute no matter what she does, Mari decides she might as well become one, but that decision only leads to more mistreatment. When Yoko finally goes too far by stealing her money and refusing to let her attend her grandfather's funeral, Mari's thoughts turn to murder.
