Synopsis by Emru Townsend
Symbol, the organization that controls Miharu and supplied Belgistan with TAs, has severed its connection with Belgistan's government by engineering a coup d'état and eliminating its leader. In the aftermath, the U.S. is lobbying the U.N. to investigate the stage site before U.N. forces pull out, but it's obvious to some of the Gowas that it's just a cover for gathering intelligence about the TAs. As the team prepares for an emergency pullout, Yushiro happens to notice a TV show broadcasting live from the stone-carved Akura Church just south of Kaha, Belgistan's capital -- and he sees Miharu on the TV screen. Without warning, he heads to the church to investigate, and the rest of the team scrambles to find him. When Yushiro arrives at the church, he sees Miharu, who addresses him as if they already know each other -- and Yushiro realizes that they do. (American release in 2000.)
