Stunned by Miharu's revelation that he's listed as dead, Yushiro stares at the fire burning in the Gowa labs. Meanwhile, Kazuharu Gowa and his father, Chairman Daizaburo Gowa, try to make sense of the intruders' seemingly irrational decision to steal the sample and then hide somewhere within the city, rather than escape using their TAs. While the police and Gowa's personnel search for the thieves, Yushiro slips away and returns home to confront his mother about the truth. She admits that she isn't his mother and tells him to see his Noh master Sorachi, who knows the whole story. Captain Akata of the Experimentation Company sneaks out of their holding area in search of answers and encounters Misuzu, Yushiro's sister. The two try to figure out where he went. Yushiro returns to the site of the summoning and Sorachi takes him to the storehouse of the original Gowa mansion. Deep in the chambers hidden below, Yushiro finds a series of chambers with sleeping figures within -- one of which is himself. Demanding an explanation, Sorachi tells him that the sleeping people are the descendants of the Monoyose kai -- those who summon Gasaraki. (American release in 2000.)
