In the third live recording of Chicago-based tenor sax legend Fred Anderson, the popular Windy City performer is joined by percussionist Hamid Drake and bassist Harrison Bankhead in offering a very special show at the Velvet Lounge. Its days numbered by the unforgiving strike of the wrecking ball, the Velvet Lounge held host to some of jazz's brightest stars over the years.
