This TV sitcom centers on three plateaus of romance -- dating, newlywed, and marriage. The dating couple, Bobbi Seawright (Tamala Jones) and Reggie Ellis (Edafe Blackmon) try to commit, while newlyweds Malena (Holly Robinson Peete) and Mel Ellis (James Lesure), who's Reggie's brother, work to keep the knot tied. Their neighbors are Sheri (Dedee Pfeiffer) and Dean Winston (D.W. Moffett), a couple married for five years. Performed by Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald, the theme music updates the classic Yardbirds tune, For Your Love. Taped in Burbank, this series premiered September 17, 1998 on the WB.
