synopsis
This little-known Mexican romantic melodrama is elevated by a big-name case. Jack Palance plays an American wayfarer who returns to a tiny fishing village after several years' absence. During his last visit, Palance had carried on an affair with fisherman's wife Maria Felix. Now that he's back, he expects to pick up where he left off-thus setting into motion a snowballing series of disasters. Released in the US in 1959, Beyond All Limits was originally titled Flor de Mayo.
